Our
STORY

The original Perama began in September 1993 and quickly became a cult classic, redefining Greek cuisine and giving it a contemporary feel and continued evolution where the guest of honour was always you. It’s final service was 30 July 2011. Since then, chef David Tsirekas has been on his own Homeric journey, cultivating and nurturing Greek kitchens at home and abroad. Like Odysseus and his 10 year journey back to Ithaca from the Trojan War, David has taken the long way home to Audley Street, Petersham.

Food, drink and philotimo – these were the pillars of the OG Perama. Expect all your favourites like Pork Belly Baklava, Seafood Parcels, Chicken Oregano, Caramel Baklava Ice Cream and the all-time original gangster Lamb Skaras. But David has a few surprises in store after 10 years of menu development.
